Under the supervision of the legendary whisky expert Jim Swan a carefully considered combination of 1st fill ex-Bourbon and 1st fill STR - that's Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred ex-Portuguese red wine casks- were used to mature Kingsbarns flagship whisky.

If Its As Good As Doocot It Will Be A Winner

I visited Kingsbarns Distillery in July and had a guided tour but alas, the famous 'Dream to Dram' was no longer available to buy on site. Ordered on line, it arrived promptly, so much so that I've not yet tasted it but if it's as good as, or better than Kingsbarns Doocot, I'm in for a real treat!
